How to Add Team Members in Deal Sauce: Step-by-Step SOP
Step-by-Step SOP for Adding Team Members to Deal Sauce
Adding team members to your Deal Sauce account is a straightforward process that allows you to collaborate effectively without incurring extra costs. Follow these steps to get your team set up and ready to go:
Step 1: Log In to Your Deal Sauce Account
Navigate to app.dealsauce.io/signin and log in using your admin credentials.
💡 Only account admins can add team members.
Step 2: Access the Settings Menu
Once logged in, locate the Settings option on the left-hand side of your dashboard. Click on it to open the settings menu.
Step 3: Navigate to the Team Section
In the settings menu, find and click on the Team tab. This is where you’ll manage your team members.
Step 4: Add a New Team Member
At the top-right corner of the Team page, click the Add User button.
A form will appear prompting you to enter the following details:
Full Name: Enter the team member’s full name.
Email Address: Provide their email address. Double-check for accuracy.
Phone Number (optional): Add their contact number if needed.
Role: Assign their role as a Team Member (do not select Admin unless absolutely necessary).
Step 5: Submit the Invitation
After filling out the form, click Submit. This will send an email invitation to the team member.
The email will include a link prompting them to:
Create a password.
Log in to their new account.
Step 6: Confirm the Invitation
Ask your team member to check their inbox (and spam/junk folder if necessary) for the invitation email.
Once they’ve completed the setup, they’ll have access to the Deal Sauce platform under the permissions you’ve assigned.
Step 7: Verify Team Member Access
Return to the Team section in your settings to confirm that the new member has successfully joined.
You’ll see their name, email, and role listed under your team.
Additional Notes
Free Team Member Limit: You can add up to 10 team members at no extra cost.
Role Assignment: Avoid assigning Admin roles unless the person absolutely requires full access to all settings and permissions.
Troubleshooting: If the invitation email doesn’t arrive, ensure the email address was entered correctly and advise the team member to check their spam/junk folder.
